Each of 30 the NBA’s teams will play five games at the Las Vegas Summer League, the league announced in a release.
Along with team executives and coaches, fans will be allowed to attend the event. The Vegas Summer League is scheduled to take place at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion from Aug. 8-17.
“After every team plays four games, the two teams with the best records from the first four games will meet in the Championship Game on Aug. 17,” the league announced.
Summer rosters generally consist of rookies, rookie free agents, and other younger veterans.
Tickets go on sale June 23 and the complete game and broadcast schedules will be announced at a later date. Previously, games have been carried on ESPN and NBA TV.
The Vegas league is expected to be the NBA’s lone summer run this offseason, with the California Classic reportedly having been cancelled.
