Former Notre Dame power forward John Mooney has joined the Bucks for the Las Vegas Summer League, per Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.
Mooney, 23, is 6-foot-9 and went undrafted in 2020. He spent this past season with the Perth Wildcats of Australia’s National Basketball League, averaging 16.9 points and 11.3 rebounds and earning first-team All-NBL honors.
Teams are already starting to put together summer rosters, with the Trail Blazers reportedly adding NBA veteran Michael Beasley.
The Las Vegas Summer League will be held at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion from Aug. 8-17 and each of the NBA’s 30 teams will be represented.
