Herro, 21, is 6-foot-5 and averaged 15.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 54 games this past season, his second in the NBA. He has played a vital role, primarily off the bench, in each of his first two years.
But Herro had a subpar showing in four first-round playoff games, and per Skolnick, doesn’t fit the timeline of star guard/forward Jimmy Butler, who’s 31-years old.
“I have now heard that there’s a 75 percent chance or better that he is traded this offseason,” Skolnick said, via Dan Feldman of NBC Sports. “In fact, when I’ve thrown out 75 percent, several league sources, they’ve told me that’s low.”
