G League Ignite forward Jonathan Kuminga worked out for the Magic on Monday, per Josh Cohen of the team’s official website.
Kuminga has been makig the rounds on the pre-draft circuit, as he has also already worked out for the Cavaliers, Raptors and Thunder, with the Warriors looming.
Kuminga is 6-foot-8 and expected to be selected in the Nos. 4-6 range, and the Magic own the Nos. 5 and 8 picks.
“I’m not for sure if I’m a top-five pick, but I’m not worried about that,” Kuminga said, via Chris Hays of the Orlando Sentinel. “That’s just the rankings. We don’t know where I might end up, so I don’t really be concerned about draft picks.”
Most mock drafts have Kuminga falling behind the Magic at No. 5, behind the likes of Cade Cunningham, Evan Mobley, Jalen Green and Jalen Suggs. That includes our mock here at Hoops Wire.
