Kansas Freshman Gradey Dick Will Enter The NBA Draft

Grady DickKansas was unable to defend their NCAA title this year after a loss to Arkansas in the round of 32. Now they are losing one of their freshmen to the NBA Draft. According to @DraftExpress on Twitter, Gradey Dick informed ESPN’s Malika Andrews on NBA Today. 

According to ESPN, Dick is ranked as the number 11 prospect in their NBA draft projections. Dick is a 6-foot-8 guard that averaged 14.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and shot 44% from the field. In addition, he hit 40% of his three-point attempts. His list of accomplishments this season is lengthy.

Dick entered the season as a Top 20 pick and his stock continued to rise after an outstanding freshman campaign. Based on his quotes in interviews, it would appear that he is fully entering the draft and will not just be testing the waters. He is a great fit for the NBA given his ability to score the basketball, size, and shooting percentage.
