LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the 2020 champion Lakers will open their 2021-22 preseason on Sunday, Oct. 3 vs. the Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, James Harden and the Nets at 3:30 p.m. EST, the team announced.
Most experts predicted the star-studded squads would meet in the Finals this season, but instead, the Lakers and Nets were eliminated from the playoffs by the Suns and Bucks, respectively, the eventual Finalists.
Along with the Nets, the Lakers will face each the Suns and Warriors twice in the preseason, before visiting the Kings on Oct. 14. View the complete scheduled below.
