Mike Conley Jr. Day-To-Day With Hamstring Soreness

Jazz point guard Mike Conley Jr. is day-to-day after an MRI revealed a mild right hamstring strain, according to Tony Jones of The Athletic.

Conley seemingly suffered the injury during Wednesday’s Game 5 win over the Grizzlies, advancing Utah to the second round of the playoffs.Mike Conley

“It’s playoffs, so my mindset is I’ll be ready to play,” he told reporters. “We’re gonna just see what happens in next few days and be smart about how we approach it going into this next series.”

The Jazz are awaiting the winner of the Mavericks-Clippers series. Dallas owns a 3-2 series edge, with neither team having yet won a home game.

Conley’s injury will be reassessed prior to the first game of the second round. He averaged 16.2 points and 6.0 assists in 51 regular-season games.
