One of the top players in the Transfer Portal has announced his commitment, as freshman Skyy Clark has committed to the Louisville Cardinals according to High Level on Twitter.

He is a 6’3 guard that averaged 7.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists for Illinois.

Clark originally committed to the University of Illinois for the 2022-2023 season and played in the first 13 games for the Fighting Illini. the 6-foot-3 guard started in 12 of those games. However, on January 6th he announced that he was leaving the team for “personal reasons.” He entered the transfer portal as soon as it opened on Monday.
Cardinal head coach Kenny Payne is coming off a difficult season that saw Louisville go 4-28 overall and just 2-18 in the ACC Conference. Clark will give coach Payne a good piece to start to build around for next season.
