Quincy Acy Drawing Strong Overseas Interest

NBA free agent power forward/center Quincy Acy is drawing strong interest from both Spanish club Barcelona and Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv, per HoopsWire sources.

Acy, 30, is 6-foot-7 and most recently played for Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2019-20. His last NBA appearance came the previous season, when he appeared in 10 games with the Suns.Quincy Acy

He has also spent time with the Nets, Mavericks, Kings, Knicks and Raptors, carrying averages of 4.9 points and 3.5 rebounds in 337 career games.

Acy played his college ball at Baylor and was originally drafted by the Raptors in the second round (No. 37 overall) in 2012. Along with that, he served two stints with the Texas Legends of the G League and has played professionally in China.

Barcelona, which now features former NBA center Pau Gasol, lost to Turkey’s Anadolu Efes in the EuroLeague title game.
