The Warriors are adding Buducnost head coach Dejan Milojevic to Steve Kerr‘s coaching staff, according to Montenegrin news outlet Vijesti.
Milojevic, 44, signed a two-year contract with Buducnost in January, but the deal included an NBA out, as relayed by Johnny Askounis of EuroHoops.
Milojevic was a star forward overseas from 1994-2009 before joining the coaching ranks with Serbian club Mega Basket.
He was head coach there from 2012-2020, and is most noted for helping to develop players such as NBA MVP Nikola Jokic (Nuggets), Boban Marjanovic (Mavericks), Vasilije Micic (Thunder own draft rights).
Milojevic has also served as an assistant coach Serbian national team under former Suns coach Igor Kokoskov.
