“It doesn’t look great, but we will hope for the best,” Brooks told the media.

The Wizards currently trail their first-round playoff series vs. the 76ers, 3-1, with Game 5 slated for Wednesday in Philadelphia.

Bertans, 28, is 6-foot-10 and averaging 9.3 points and 2.8 rebounds in four playoff games, shooting 41 percent from the field. He averaged 11.5 points and shot 40 percent on 3-pointers during the regular season.

He exited Game 4 with 8:57 remaining in the third quarter and did not return.

Without Bertans, the Wizards will have to continue to lean heavily on Rui Hachimura, as well as perhaps increase the minutes of Chandler Hutchison and perhaps Anthony Gill.
