Cavs’ Donovan Mitchell All But Confirms He’ll Play In Game 5 Against Pacers

It looks like Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard Donovan Mitchell will play in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday.

Mitchell posted his usual “LetEmKnow” post on X on gameday.

Mitchell didn’t play in the second half of Game 4 after hurting his left ankle. The Cavaliers are down 3-1 to the Pacers.

Mitchell is averaging 34.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.5 blocks in the Cavaliers-Pacers series while shooting 45.0% from the field, 22.2% from beyond the arc and 76.0% from the free-throw line.

Cleveland is the No. 1 seed in the East. Kenny Atkinson is the Coach of the Year. However, the Pacers have looked like the better team in this series, winning Games 1 and 2 in Cleveland and Game 4 in Indiana in blowout fashion.
