According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry won’t miss much time with his ankle injury.
Curry sprained his right ankle last night (3/7) against the Chicago Bulls. He underwent an MRI and the results were clean.

The Warriors are in ninth place in the Western Conference standings with a record of 33-29. If the season ended today, Golden State would face the Los Angeles Lakers in the 9-10 play-in tournament game.
Curry has appeared in 59 games this season. The NBA legend is averaging 26.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists while shooting 44.9% from the field, 40.7% from beyond the arc and 92.0% from the free-throw line.
A two-time MVP, Curry is fourth in the NBA in points, ninth in points per game and first in 3-point field goals.
After the Warriors lost to the Bulls, Klay Thompson spoke about Curry’s injury.
“He had his ankle wrap on,” Thompson said. “Icing his ankle. I know we’re going to miss him … if he does have time off. We’ve been in this position before where he has had time off and we have to do it collectively. I know he’ll be ready to go when he does come back.”
Chris Paul will likely enter the starting lineup while Curry is out. Paul has started 11 games in his first season with the Warriors, but he’s been coming off the bench since early January.
“We know he is more than capable. He’s Chris Paul,” Draymond Green said. “It’s been incredible having C here, but then you have Steph going down — no one is Steph Curry in the NBA. But knowing you are going into the game with a guy who can win you game after game after game, it definitely gives you confidence going in knowing that you are more than capable to win games.”
