According to NBA insider Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, the Utah Jazz, Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Mavericks and New Orleans Pelicans are interested in Tobias Harris.
Harris is an unrestricted free agent and he’s not expected to return to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Harris appeared in 70 games for the Sixers in 2023-24. He averaged 17.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.7 blocks while shooting 48.7% from the field, 35.3% from beyond the arc and 87.8% from the free-throw line.
The Sixers lost to the New York Knicks in the first round of the 2024 playoffs in six games. The franchise hasn’t advanced past the second round of the postseason in the Joel Embiid era.
Harris, who turns 32 in July, has career averages of 16.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.5 blocks with the Milwaukee Bucks, Orlando Magic, Pistons, Los Angeles Clippers and Sixers.
Harris made $39.3 million in 2023-24. He signed a five-year, $180 million contract with the Sixers in July 2019. The swingman was the 19th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft out of Tennessee.
