According to NBA insider Shams Charania of ESPN, Jalen Green has agreed to a $106 million extension with the Houston Rockets.
It’s a three-year deal for Green, who has a player option in Year 3.
Green averaged 19.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.3 blocks last season while shooting 42.3% from the field, 33.2% from beyond the arc and 80.4% from the free-throw line.
The Rockets went 41-41 in 2023-24. They missed the playoffs for the fourth straight season.
Houston drafted Green with the second overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.
Green, 22, has career averages of 19.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.3 blocks.
