Bradley Beal will get bought out by the Phoenix Suns soon and the NBA veteran is already being linked to two teams.
According to NBA insider Grant Afseth of RG, the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors are interested in signing Beal.
“The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers are among the potential landing spots for Bradley Beal if the veteran guard becomes available via buyout, league sources told RG,” Afseth wrote.
“Beal has two years and $110 million remaining on his contract with the Phoenix Suns. While talks are ongoing, a buyout would make the three-time All-Star an unrestricted free agent. In that scenario, Beal could choose his next destination without trade restrictions, and any team signing him could offer a new deal on their terms.”
Once Beal and the Suns agree to a buyout, Beal will become an unrestricted free agent. He can sign with any team.
A Florida product, Beal appeared in 53 games for the Suns last season. The shooting guard averaged 17.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists while shooting 49.7% from the field, 38.6% from beyond the arc and 80.3% from the free-throw line.
The Suns acquired Beal from the Washington Wizards in 2023. Beal played in 106 games with Phoenix. He’s averaged 17.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists.
Beal is 32 years old. He has career averages of 21.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 801 games with the Wizards and Suns.
Along with the Clippers and Warriors, Beal has been linked to the Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat.
However, the Heat acquired Norman Powell from the Clippers on Monday, so they may not be interested in Beal anymore.
