Brooklyn Nets guard Cam Thomas, Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga and Chicago Bulls point-forward Josh Giddey are seeking a salary in the $30 million range annually, according to NBA insider Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
Thomas, Kuminga and Giddey remain restricted free agents.
“Since there are no cap-space teams in circulation to emerge with an offer sheet to Cam Thomas or fellow restricted free agents like Golden State’s Jonathan Kuminga and Chicago’s Josh Giddey, Brooklyn appears to be in no rush to expedite discussions with Thomas’ representation,” Stein wrote. “Thomas, like Kuminga and Giddey, is said to be seeking a salary in the $30 million range annually.”
As restricted free agents, Thomas, Kuminga and Giddey can either re-sign with the Nets, Warriors and Bulls, respectively, on a new deal, play next season on a qualifying offer and enter unrestricted free agency next offseason or sign an offer sheet with a new team.
Thus far, no NBA teams have signed Thomas, Kuminga or Giddey to offer sheets. Kuminga, though, is drawing interest from the Phoenix Suns and Sacramento Kings.

Thomas averaged 24.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists for the Nets last season in 25 games, Kuminga averaged 15.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists for the Warriors in 47 games and Giddey averaged 14.6 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.2 assists for the Bulls in 70 games.
The Nets and Bulls missed the 2025 playoffs, while the Warriors lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference Semifinals in five games.
