Legendary Los Angeles Clippers broadcaster Ralph Lawler said on X (formerly known as Twitter) that Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James is the best player in NBA history.
Lawler is taking LeBron over all the other basketball legends he’s watched.
OMG! Clippers up by 21 in the. 4th Q to the Lakers, but lose as a LeBron James out-scored the Clips by himself in the final period. Unbelievable.I repeat: James is the best to ever play the game.

LeBron had a special performance last night (2/28) against the Clippers, scoring 19 points in the fourth quarter to help the Lakers come back from 21 points to win by a final score of 116-112. The King outscored the Clippers 19-16 in the fourth quarter.
The NBA’s all-time leading scorer, LeBron finished with 34 points, six rebounds, eight assists and two blocks versus the Clippers while shooting 13-of-21 from the field and 7-of-12 from beyond the arc.
“It’s just a feeling when you feel like everything you put up is going in,” LeBron said. “I just kept it consistent. I wasn’t taking ill-advised shots. I stayed in the course of the offense. When I was able to get the switches, I was able to give myself some space to get a couple more looks, so my teammates did a great job of continuing to find me. And then I just started to dictate the tempo, dictate the game. … It’s just a zone. Can’t really describe it. Wish you could stay in it forever. … It’s just like a superpower feel.”
The Clippers led the Lakers 98-77 at the 11:45 mark of the fourth quarter. LeBron led a 29-8 run to tie the game at the four-minute mark and the Lakers took the lead for good on a Rui Hachimura 3-pointer with three minutes left in the game.
“He had to take the cape, tuck it under his seat on the bench I guess,” Lakers head coach Darvin Ham said of LeBron. “It was time for him to whip it out. He definitely did that, put the cape on and just got aggressive and got into good rhythm.”
LeBron is the oldest player in the NBA. He’s 39. However, the four-time MVP is still playing like a superstar. He’s averaging 25.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 7.9 assists this season.
