Cleveland Cavaliers rookie Jaylon Tyson, the 20th overall pick in this year’s NBA draft, is eager to learn from Caris LeVert.
“I’m excited man. I could name everybody,” Tyson said about which teammates he’s eager to learn from. “But probably Caris LeVert. He’s in my position. I want to learn from him. I want to learn how he got to this point. How he’s at the point that he’s at. So that’s the biggest one I’m trying to learn from.”
“You’re gonna see me smiling a lot.”

Cleveland added only two new players this offseason, Tyson and JT Thor. Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley signed extensions and Kenny Atkinson replaced JB Bickerstaff.
The San Antonio Spurs and New Orleans Pelicans tried to trade for Darius Garland, but the Cavaliers were not interested in parting ways with their starting point guard, NBA sources told Hoops Wire.

Cleveland beat the Orlando Magic in the first round of the 2024 playoffs in seven games and lost to the Boston Celtics in the second round in five games.
LeVert, who turns 30 on August 25, has career averages of 14.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.4 blocks with the Brooklyn Nets, Indiana Pacers and Cavaliers.
