Greg Swartz of Bleacher Report proposed the following mock trade between the Bucks, Warriors and Blazers:

Milwaukee Bucks Receive: F Jerami Grant

Golden State Warriors Receive: F Khris Middleton

Portland Trail Blazers Receive: SG Moses Moody, SF Andrew Wiggins

Grant averaged 21.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.6 blocks last season for the Blazers while shooting 45.1% from the field, 40.2% from beyond the arc and 81.7% from the free-throw line. He’ll make $29.8 million next season.

Middleton averaged 15.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.3 blocks for the Bucks while shooting 49.3% from the field, 38.1% from beyond the arc and 83.3% from the free-throw line. The NBA champion will make $31.7 million next season.

Wiggins, who won the 2022 NBA championship, averaged 13.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.6 assists and 0.6 blocks for the Warriors while shooting 45.3% from the field, 35.8% from beyond the arc and 75.1% from the free-throw line. He’ll make $26.3 million next season.

“Khris Middleton is a better all-around player than Jerami Grant, but he’s also struggled to stay healthy in recent years and had arthroscopic surgeries on both ankles this offseason,” Swartz wrote. “If the Bucks have any hesitations about Middleton’s ability to stay on the court, swapping him for Grant (who’s also two years younger) makes sense.

“A starting five of Damian Lillard, Gary Trent Jr., Grant, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez would remain one of the best in the East, as Grant averaged 21.0 points and made 40.2 percent of his threes last season. Lillard and Grant already carry a year of experience together from their 2022-23 season with the Blazers.

“The Warriors are essentially swapping Andrew Wiggins for Middleton here, as Moody may not even play much this upcoming season with the additions of Buddy Hield and De’Anthony Melton combined with Brandin Podziemski entering the starting lineup full-time. Middleton’s shooting, passing and overall versatility make him a strong fit in Golden State, and the Warriors should be thrilled to get off Wiggins’ contract.”
