RESN, WUAB to Provide Wall-to-Wall Cavs Coverage Throughout NBA Playoffs

FanDuel Sports Network won’t broadcast any more Cavaliers playoff games this season, but the pre- and postgame shows are dribbling on.Evan Mobley, Darius Garland, Cavaliers, Cavs, NBA

Instead of FanDuel, the Dan Gilbert-owned Rocket Entertainment Sports Network will carry both the “Cavaliers Countdown” before every playoff game and “Cavaliers Overtime” when those games conclude.

But wait. There’s more.

Starting Monday, May 5, RESN and WUAB will air nightly coverage and exclusive insights from players, coaches, and analysts on The Road To 16, hosted by Cavs TV voice John Michael and sideline reporter Serena Winters

As for the pre- and postgame shows, a familiar and deep bench of local voices will lead the way — with the list including host Cayleigh Griffin, Cavs legend Austin Carr, and my Full Court Cleveland co-host Booby Gibson. The studio shows will be the same as always, guiding fans through highlights, reactions, and locker room insights.

In the event that’s not enough, RESN will also roll out additional Cavs-centric content throughout the week, including the Emmy-nominated The Road Back, which takes fans behind the curtain and into the team’s inner sanctum.

RESN is available free over-the-air on channels 22.1 (Cleveland), 17.1 (Columbus), 19.3 (Cincinnati), and 32.2 (Dayton), as well as via Spectrum on channels 979 (Cleveland), 985 (Columbus), and 999 (Cincinnati). Full distribution details are available at RockEntertainmentSports.com.

The Cavs square off with the Pacers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals Sunday at Rocket Arena. You can check out the full series schedule on Hoops Wire right here.
