The Miami Heat want Dalton Knecht, Rui Hachimura and a first-round pick from the Los Angeles Lakers for Andrew Wiggins.
The Heat are expected to trade Wiggins this offseason.
“I don’t know if Gabe Vincent, Maxi Kleber, Shake Milton & a first gets you Andrew Wiggins. I’ve shared what I’ve heard which is that Miami has been asking for a first & Dalton Knecht. I think they also want Rui Hachimura too because they want to remain competitive.” – @jovanbuha https://t.co/8I5QsIEjy8 pic.twitter.com/iO8CjhbBA1

The Lakers lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the 2025 playoffs in five games despite having home-court advantage and LeBron James and Luka Doncic.
Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers swept the Heat in the first round.
Wiggins will make $28.2 million next season. He has a player option worth $30.2 million for the 2026-27 season.
Meanwhile, Hachimura will make $18.3 million next season in the final year of his contract and Knecht will make $4 million.
Wiggins was the first overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. The Cavaliers selected him but traded the talented small forward to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Kevin Love trade.
The 30-year-old Wiggins has played for the Timberwolves, Golden State Warriors and Heat. He has career averages of 18.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
Wiggins put up 18.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game with the Warriors and Heat last season while shooting 44.8% from the field, 37.4% from beyond the arc and 76.3% from the free-throw line.
A Kansas product, Wiggins won the 2014-15 Rookie of the Year Award with the Timberwolves and the 2022 championship with the Warriors. He made his lone All-Star team in 2022 with Golden State.
