Clippers Could Get Bradley Beal And Chris Paul

The Los Angeles Clippers could get Bradley Beal and Chris Paul, according to NBA insider Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.

Beal is expected to sign with the Clippers after he gets bought out by the Phoenix Suns, while Paul is an unrestricted free agent.

Beal played in 53 games for the Suns last season. The Florida product averaged 17.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists while shooting 49.7% from the field, 38.6% from beyond the arc and 80.3% from the free-throw line.

A three-time All-Star, Beal has appeared in 801 NBA games with the Washington Wizards and Suns. He has career averages of 21.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists.

The Wizards signed Beal to a five-year, $251 million contract in 2022, which included a no-trade clause. Beal and Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James are the only active players in the league with a no-trade clause.

Once Beal gets bought out by the Suns, his no-trade clause will be gone.

Paul played for the Clippers from 2011-12 to 2016-17 before getting traded to the Houston Rockets. The NBA legend played in all 82 games for the San Antonio Spurs last season, averaging 8.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 7.4 assists while shooting 42.7% from the field, 37.7% from beyond the arc and 92.4% from the free-throw line.

A 12-time All-Star, Paul has played for the New Orleans Hornets, Clippers, Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Suns, Golden State Warriors and Spurs. He has career averages of 17.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 9.2 assists.

The Clippers, led by Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, lost to the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the 2025 playoffs in seven games. The franchise has never been to the NBA Finals.

Los Angeles acquired John Collins from the Utah Jazz in a three-team trade with the Miami Heat. The Clippers traded Norman Powell to Miami.
