Warriors No Longer Interested In Trading For Bulls’ Nikola Vucevic

The Golden State Warriors were interested in trading for Chicago Bulls big man Nikola Vucevic last season.

The Bulls are trying to trade Vucevic this offseason, so many connected the Warriors to the former Orlando Magic All-Star.

However, Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report doesn’t think Golden State is interested in Vucevic.

“I don’t think the Warriors have much interest in Nikola Vucevic,” Fischer said.

Vucevic will make $21.4 million next season in the final year of his contract. Chicago tried to trade the veteran at the February trade deadline, but the front office didn’t find a deal it liked.

Vucevic appeared in 73 games last season. He averaged 18.5 points, 10.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting 53.0% from the field, 40.2% from beyond the arc and 80.5% from the free-throw line.

The Bulls missed the playoffs again last season. They have only made the postseason once since trading Jimmy Butler to the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2016.

Vucevic has played for the Magic and Bulls. He’s a two-time All-Star with career averages of 17.2 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists.

The Warriors lost to the Timberwolves in the second round of the 2025 playoffs in five games. They haven’t made any moves yet this offseason, but they are expected to sign Al Horford and De’Anthony Melton once Jonathan Kuminga‘s restricted free agency gets handled.
