The Cleveland Charge are about to get rolling again.
The Cavs’ G League affiliate will open the 2025-26 season on the road against the Iowa Wolves on Nov. 7, then return home to Cleveland Public Hall for their opener a week later, Nov. 14, against the Wisconsin Herd.
The schedule follows the G League’s format of a 14-game Tip-Off Tournament leading into the Winter Showcase, then a 34-game regular season starting after Christmas. And for the first time, eight teams per conference will make the playoffs, giving the Charge a bigger shot at chasing a spring run.
As usual, weekends will dominate the home slate, with 17 of 24 games falling on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays. March will feature the longest homestand of the season — seven games from March 3-18 — while the longest road swing will be seven straight in January, including a first-ever trip to Mexico City to face the Capitanes.
Cleveland also gets a three-game homestand around the holidays, beginning Dec. 27 against Delaware, followed by Wisconsin on Dec. 30 and Long Island on Jan. 2. The annual School Day game tips March 3 against Windy City at 11 a.m.
The Charge will even test themselves against last year’s Eastern Conference champion Osceola Magic with a two-game road set Feb. 25-26.
So yes, plenty of weekend hoops, again a historic venue, and a little international flair are all part of the Charge’s 2025-26 ride.
