The Wizards are signing undrafted Kentucky point guard Davion Mintz to an Exhibit 10 contract, agents Adie von Gontard and Daveed Cohen told JD Shaw of Hoops Rumors.
Along with Mintz, the Wizards will sign undrafted Texas A&M shooting guard Quenton Jackson to an Exhibit 10 deal, Shaw reported, citing agent Gino Littles.
Mintz, 23, is 6-foot-3 and spent one season at Kentucky after three years at Creighton. He averaged 11.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 35 games in 2021-22.
Jackson, 21, is 6-5 and was at Texas A&M for three years, averaging 14.8 points and 3.5 rebounds in 40 games this past season.
An Exhibit 10 contract is a contract that counts toward the offseason roster limit of 20, but does not count toward the salary cap unless the player makes the team.
All NBA contracts can be finalized once the new league year begins next week. The Las Vegas summer league tips off July 7.
