Cleveland-based Big Play Sports Network announced it has partnered with the Cleveland Cavaliers on SI website, currently operated by its namesake, Sports Illustrated.
Full disclosure — I co-host a show on Big Play, alongside former Cavs guard Daniel “Booby” Gibson and Spanish play-by-play voice Rafa Hernandez-Brito. That show, Full Court Cleveland, returns for the 2025-26 season, with the first episode to tip off in a few weeks.
Also full disclosure — I once worked for Cavaliers on SI, before departing to eventually launch this very website.
Along with Cavaliers on SI, Big Play is partnering with Cleveland Browns on SI, Ohio State Buckeyes on SI and Cleveland Guardians on SI.
Other programs on the Big Play Sports Network: Big Play Cleveland, The Big Factor, The Carlos Baerga Show, Bonus Time with Bruce Drennan, Enter the Jungle, The Bobby Carpenter Show, The Top Dawgs Show, and Honor The Land, among many others.
The Cavs begin training camp Sept. 30 in Florida, with the preseason opener set for Oct. 7 at home against the Bulls. I, for one, think they could be in for a banner season. You can check out my column on that right here.
