Cavaliers broadcasts on FanDuel Sports Network Ohio are undergoing a few tweaks, but will still feature plenty of familiar faces.
Notably, former Cavs guard Iman Shumpert will join the network’s coverage, which includes 70 of the team’s 82 regular-season games. The other 12 will be carried nationally.
Shumpert will appear on select Cavaliers Live shows that air before and after each game. That programming is moving from a studio setting to the court this season.
A member of the 2016 championship team, Shumpert has become a popular media voice in retirement, serving as a regular guest on the All the Smoke podcast and 7PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony.
Meanwhile, fellow former Cavs guard Daniel “Booby” Gibson will also appear on select pre- and postgame shows. In addition, Gibson continues as part of BIGPLAY’s Full Court Cleveland on FanDuel Sports Network, which also features Spanish play-by-play voice Rafa Hernandez-Brito and yours truly.
Everything else remains mostly the same. John Michael returns for play-by-play, joined by Cavs legend Brad Daugherty as lead analyst and Serena Winters as sideline reporter.
Also, Austin Carr will again serve as a regular analyst on Cavaliers Live, filling in for Daugherty on select in-game broadcasts. Cayleigh Griffin will continue to host pre- and postgame shows for home games, while Winters will handle those duties on the road.
