Rock Entertainment Group and iHeartMedia Cleveland have announced a new partnership that will expand coverage of the Cavaliers and Cleveland Charge while launching a new all-sports radio station, SportsRadio 99.1.
All Cavaliers games will air live on 100.7 WMMS and WTAM 1100/106.9, with streaming available on the iHeartRadio app. The deal continues iHeart’s long-standing relationship with the Cavs, who open the regular season Oct. 22 at the New York Knicks.
The Cleveland Charge, the Cavaliers’ G League affiliate, will have games broadcast on REAL 106.1.
SportsRadio 99.1 will provide expanded access, team analysis, simulcasts of select RESN programming and coverage of other Ohio-based sporting events.
Rock Entertainment Group also owns the AHL’s Cleveland Monsters, whose games will now air on SportsRadio 99.1. The Monsters’ home opener is Oct. 17 against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms at Rocket Arena.
