All-Star guard Zach LaVine and the Bulls have reached agreement on a five-year maximum contract, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Agent Rich Paul told Hoops Wire he believed LaVine was a max player prior to free agency and now LaVine will receive a $215 million contract, per Charania. The last year of the deal is a player option.
LaVine, 27, just completed his eighth season, compiling averages of 24.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 67 games. He has been an All-Star in each of the past two seasons.
The Bulls were eliminated by the Bucks in the first round of the playoffs after finishing 46-36, good enough for sixth in the Eastern Conference.
