Pacers

The Pacers have officially signed Cody Martin to a 10-day contract, per a team press release. This one comes via hardship exception. Indiana continues to look for bodies as the injuries pile up.

Martin is 30 and spent the first half of last season with the Hornets before being sent to the Suns. He once carved out a role as a do-it-all wing defender in Charlotte. He averaged 7.7 points back in 2021, while shooting 48 percent overall and 38 percent on threes.

This year has been brutal for Indiana. Tyrese Haliburton is done for the year with the Achilles. Obi Toppin is out until February. T.J. McConnell, Bennedict Mathurin, Kam Jones and Andrew Nembhard have all missed at least multiple games. So the Pacers qualified for an additional hardship slot.

Martin also worked out for Indiana last month, per Scott Agness of Fieldhouse Files. He will earn about $165K for the 10-day.

Bulls

The Bulls are 6-1 and still waiting on Coby White. He remains a couple weeks away, according to Julia Poe of The Chicago Tribune.

“He is sprinting, running, cutting, jumping, trying to do everything completely full speed,” coach Billy Donovan said. “He’s felt really, really good. … This has just taken a while. I think you can see around the league, there’s a lot of guys dealing with these calves right now. It’s just the way it is.”

Mavericks

Anthony Davis remains out. So does Dereck Lively II. Both will miss tonight vs. the Pelicans, per Eddie Sefko of Mavs.com.
