Kings

The Kings aren’t done circling Jonathan Kuminga.

Marc J. Spears of Andscape said on ESPN’s NBA Today that Sacramento remains interested in the Warriors forward, who was one of their top targets during his restricted free agency this past summer.

The price, however, may not be the same. Spears said the Kings previously offered Malik Monk and a first-round pick for Kuminga, but added, “I don’t think that first would be available anymore.”

Sacramento’s stance has shifted as its roster and priorities have changed, yet the interest hasn’t fully disappeared.

Pacers

Tyrese Haliburton continues to make notable progress in his recovery from a torn Achilles. The Pacers star posted a 30-second clip showing him running, jumping and shooting, offering fans a glimpse of how far he’s come.

Haliburton won’t play this season, but he will stay visible. Amazon Prime Video officially added him as a player contributor for its NBA broadcasts.

His debut comes Tuesday night, with additional appearances planned throughout the year on NBA Nightcap. The two-time All-Star will also document parts of his rehab journey for the platform.

In the meantime, Indiana’s core has responded. Pascal Siakam, Andrew Nembhard and Bennedict Mathurin combined for 76 points in Monday’s win over Sacramento, helping the Pacers to four victories in their last six games.

“Those three guys are our leaders,” coach Rick Carlisle said, while also crediting Aaron Nesmith and T.J. McConnell for steadying the group, via Dustin Dopirak of the Indianapolis Star.

International

Malik Beasley’s overseas rumors aren’t quite what they seem. After a Serbian report suggested the veteran guard was in advanced talks with Partizan Belgrade, agent Brian Jungreis pushed back, telling Front Office Sports that the chatter was “exaggerated” and that nothing is close.

Beasley remains stuck in what Jungreis called “investigative purgatory,” with both the NBA and federal authorities still reviewing potential links to illegal betting. Until he’s cleared, he can’t sign with an NBA team.

Beasley has interest from clubs in Europe and China, but his camp insists he wouldn’t sign any deal lacking an NBA-out clause.

Beasley himself went even further on Twitch on Monday, saying flatly, “I’m not going to Serbia.”

If cleared, Beasley would instantly become the most coveted free agent on the market. The 30-year-old shot 41 percent from three last season, made 319 triples and finished second for Sixth Man of the Year before a potential three-year, $42 million deal with Detroit collapsed due to the investigation.
