The Suns have been a pleasant surprise to this point, one of the NBA’s best early stories. But the real work may come next.

Phoenix lost both Devin Booker (right ankle) and Jalen Green (precautionary right hamstring tightness) during Friday’s 110-103 road loss to the Hawks.

Booker’s injury seems more frightening at the moment — though there’s no official diagnosis.

Either way, Dillon Brooks said all the Suns can do is keep their heads held high and keep pressing on.

“It’s basketball. It happens. We’ll figure it out,” Brooks said, via Duane Rankin of the Arizona Republic. “Rally together and let’s try to finish off this first half (of the regular season) the right way. Stay where we’re at. Don’t let the bleeding bleed too much and going into the (All-Star) break with some wins.”

As Rankin pointed out, the Suns have 10 games left before the All-Star break. Nine are at home.
