The Wizards have agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract with center Makur Maker, according to Josh Robbins and Shams Charania of The Athletic. Robbins cited a tweet from Ed Smith depicting Makur signing the deal.
Makur, 21, is fresh off winning a title with the Sydney Kings of Australia’s NBL. He took part in a group workout with the Wizards on June 3, and very well could be line for a spot with the Capital City Go-Go of the G League, Robbins noted.
Makur is the younger cousin of former lottery pick Thon Maker, and while neither really lived up the hype, Makur is not yet considered a finished product by NBA scouts. So perhaps a run in the minors will serve him well.

Maker last spent time with the Bulls summer team, last month, when he averaged 7.2 points and 3.4 rebounds across five appearances.
Along with Maker, the Wizards reportedly have signed Quenton Jackson and Davion Mintz to Exhibit 10 deals (full post).
