Bronny James, the son of Lakers star LeBron James, is likely to take the college route, as opposed to playing in the G League, upon completion of his senior year of high school, per Paul Biancardi of ESPN.
Bronny is being recruited by the majority of the top Division I programs, including Ohio State, Michigan, UCLA, USC and a host of others.
He is playing in his final season at Sierra Canyon, and ranked as anywhere from the No. 43-45 overall prospect in the class of 2023.
Scouts have told Hoops Wire that he is a projected second-round pick — though that could change (for better or worse) between now and when he’s eligible for the NBA Draft (2024).
LeBron has said he hopes to finish his career with whichever NBA team drafts Bronny.
