The Pacers are rewarding Quenton Jackson with a promotion.
According to Shams Charania of ESPN, Jackson’s two-way contract is being converted into a three-year standard NBA deal. His agents at Klutch Sports confirmed the agreement.
A league source told Indiana insider Tony East that the contract is partially guaranteed for 2026-27 and non-guaranteed in 2027-28.
Jackson, 27, has appeared in 30 games this season, averaging 9.2 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 17.3 minutes while shooting an efficient 48.9 percent from the field and 40.9 percent from three-point range.
Because this is Jackson’s fourth NBA season, he would not have been eligible for another two-way contract next year.
Indiana had an open standard roster spot, making the decision straightforward with no corresponding move required.
“I’ve thought about it. It’s hard not to think about it,” Jackson told East. “But at the same time, I wouldn’t say I wrap my head around it too much. In this game, it’s best to think about the things that you can control.”
Pacers general manager Chad Buchanan recently called Jackson “a big part of our culture,” praising his energy and toughness.
Indiana will now have an open two-way slot alongside Taelon Peter and Ethan Thompson.
