The Cavaliers landed Donovan Mitchell in a trade but they still have some work to do. At least, they do when it comes to finalizing their roster for training camp.
Per Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com, the Cavs have yet to finalize their camp roster, with the start of the preseason about a month away.
That’s not a big deal, of course. Cleveland isn’t alone, as several teams have yet to make firm commitments on filling out their roster.
But like every team, filling out the roster for the Cavs will likely involve players who are either at the end of the bench, on nonguaranteed contracts, or headed to the G League (or perhaps overseas).
As we relayed, president of basketball operations Koby Altman remains on the lookout for perimeter shooting in reserve, as the Cavs are bringing in promising veteran Armoni Brooks and several others for pre-camp workouts.
