Nuggets
Nikola Jokic recorded his 35th triple-double of the season and finished with 22 points, 14 rebounds and 14 assists, while Jamal Murray also scored 22 as the Nuggets beat the Trail Blazers, 128-112.
Peyton Watson returned for the first time since Feb. 4 (hamstring) and scored 14 points in just under 20 minutes. He was one of seven Nuggets in double figures, with Cam Johnson adding 19.
Coach David Adelman said before the game Watson’s minutes would be managed as he works back into the rotation.
Timberwolves
Bones Hyland scored 23 points and Jaden McDaniels added 19 as the Timberwolves beat the Celtics 102-92, snapping an 18-game losing streak at TD Garden.
“Dang, that don’t even sound right,” Hyland told reporters of the Timberwolves’ last win in Boston coming in 2005. “I was five years old. That’s crazy.”
Ayo Dosunmu finished with 17 points, eight rebounds and six assists, while Rudy Gobert had 14 rebounds. Anthony Edwards missed his fourth straight game (knee).
Minnesota trailed 81-80 before taking control with a 16-0 run in the fourth. Naz Reid scored eight straight during that stretch after returning from a two-game absence.
Suns
Devin Booker scored 25 points and Jalen Green added 20 as Phoenix beat Toronto 120-98, snapping a five-game skid.
The Suns never trailed and pushed the margin to 30 late in the third. Booker went 9-of-15 from the field, including three three-pointers.
Collin Gillespie scored 16, while Ryan Dunn and Rasheer Fleming combined for 23 off the bench as Phoenix improved to 40 wins despite multiple injuries in the rotation.
