Warriors
Draymond Green is not planning any changes.
The longtime Warriors forward said he cannot picture himself in another uniform as long as Golden State wants him, sharing that sentiment during an appearance on Inside The NBA, via Marc J. Spears of Andscape.
Green has spent his entire career with the franchise and remains one of its emotional anchors. His comments suggest that, at least from his end, there is no desire to test the waters elsewhere.
Suns
The Suns have a decision to make with guard Collin Gillespie, and it could come down to value.
Gerald Bourguet of PHNX Sports explored what a new deal might look like, pointing to something in the range of T.J. McConnell’s four-year, $45 million contract as a reasonable framework.
Phoenix holds Gillespie’s Early Bird rights and could go higher if needed. Still, Bourguet expressed skepticism that the 26-year-old will command a deal near the upper limit, which could approach $67 million over four years.
Nuggets
Aaron Gordon’s name could surface in trade talks this offseason, but one potential destination appears unlikely.
According to John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7, the Suns are not expected to have interest in acquiring the Nuggets forward, largely due to concerns about his injury history.
If Denver explores the market, it may need to look elsewhere.
