NBA announces 2025-26 All-NBA teams

The NBA officially unveiled its All-NBA teams for the 2025-26 season, with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic earning unanimous First Team honors.

A panel of 100 media members voted on the awards, with five points awarded for First Team votes, three for Second Team and one for Third Team.

Here’s the full breakdown:

First Team

  • Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Oklahoma City Thunder (500 points)
  • Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets (500)
  • Victor Wembanyama, San Antonio Spurs (498)
  • Luka Doncic, Los Angeles Lakers (482)
  • Cade Cunningham, Detroit Pistons (414)

Second Team

Third Team

Gilgeous-Alexander and Jokic were the only unanimous First Team selections. Wembanyama narrowly missed joining them, receiving 99 First Team votes and one Second Team vote.

Both Doncic and Cunningham were granted “extraordinary circumstances” exceptions after technically falling short of the NBA’s 65-game minimum. Doncic missed time following the birth of his child, while Cunningham lost games after suffering a collapsed lung.

A handful of other players also received votes.

Deni Avdija led that group with 26 points, followed by Karl-Anthony Towns (14), Scottie Barnes (9), James Harden (6), Alperen Sengun (6), LaMelo Ball (5), Stephon Castle (5), Bam Adebayo (4) and Derrick White (3).

Cooper Flagg, Brandon Ingram and Evan Mobley each received one Third Team vote.
