The Heat have signed guard Mychal Mulder to a contract and converted the contract of rookie small forward Jamal Cain to a two-way deal, the team announced in a press release.
Mulder’s deal is an Exhibit 10 training camp contract, per Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald.
Mulder, 28, is 6-foot-3 and actually finished last season with the Heat after signing a two-way contract in March. He also spent September-January on a two-way deal with the Magic. Overall, he appeared in 17 NBA games last season (two with Miami).
Along with that, he played 67 games with the Warriors from 2019-21, and has compiled career averages of 5.8 points and 37 percent shooting.
Cain, 23, is 6-7 and signed a camp deal with the Heat after going undrafted out of Oakland. He then played for the Heat during the Las Vegas Summer League andhas looked good in the preseason.
Along with those two moves, the Heat are waiving forward Darius Days, creating room for Mulder.
