The Celtics have signed point guard Eric Demers to an Exhibit 10 training camp contract, per the RealGM transactions log.
Demers, 25, is 6-foot-1 and spent last season with the Maine Celtics, averaging 8.1 points and 1.6 rebounds in 24 games.
He went undrafted out of Division III Gordon College in Wenham, Mass., in 2020, then signed on with the Spurs’ summer team. After that, he headed to the G League.
And the G League is likely where Demers is headed next, with this signing indicating the Celtics would like him to remain with Maine. They now have 19 players on the camp roster.
