It appears Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo are ready to put their recent altercation behind them.
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, there is currently no NBA investigation into the incident involving the former Heat teammates, and Herro is not pursuing legal action.
“There is belief to be surveillance footage to be reviewed, but at this point no investigation from the NBA,” Charania said. “Tyler Herro not pursuing any legal action as of right now… My understanding is both Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo want to move on from this situation.”
The altercation reportedly took place last week at a practice facility inside a Las Vegas hotel while NBA personnel were in town for Summer League.
Multiple reports indicated Adebayo confronted Herro over social media comments allegedly made from an alternate account that were critical of the Heat center. The confrontation turned physical before the two were separated.
Neither the Heat nor the Bucks have publicly commented on the incident.
Herro, who was traded to Milwaukee as part of the Giannis Antetokounmpo blockbuster earlier this offseason, recently spoke fondly of his time in Miami despite the rocky ending.
“I appreciate Miami,” Herro told reporters. “I appreciate my time there. I would be open at some point to end my career there, but it would just have to make sense.”
Herro added that Miami will remain home for his family, saying his children will continue to attend school there.
