Get ready to see a lot of the Sixers next season.
Philadelphia is expected to receive 34 national television showcases, the maximum permitted under the NBA’s current media rights agreement, according to Front Office Sports.
LeBron James will do that for you.

The Sixers already figured to command plenty of national attention after adding Jaylen Brown to a roster featuring Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe. James choosing Philadelphia turned them into perhaps the league’s biggest television attraction.

It also helps explain why the NBA was so eager for James to make his decision.
Commissioner Adam Silver said earlier this month that James’ uncertain destination was affecting the league’s ability to finalize the 2026-27 schedule.
“Where LeBron plays will affect the schedule,” Silver said at the time, specifically mentioning opening week and Christmas Day among the considerations.
James finally ended the suspense Friday, choosing Philadelphia over a group of finalists that included the Cavaliers and Heat.
Hoops Wire reported afterward that the league’s schedule release remains on track despite the delay. Last season’s full schedule was announced Aug. 14.
Now we have a pretty good idea which team will be occupying a whole lot of those prime television windows.
The Sixers have LeBron, Embiid, Brown and Maxey. The NBA apparently intends to make sure everyone gets to watch them.
