The Spurs have signed former North Carolina guard RJ Davis and finalized their 21-man roster for training camp.
Davis is listed as a camp invitee and likely received an Exhibit 10 contract, as relayed by Luke Adams of Hoops Rumors.
The 6-foot guard went undrafted in 2025 before signing with the Lakers and spending his rookie season with their G League affiliate in South Bay.
Davis averaged 18.4 points, 4.9 assists and 3.8 rebounds in 49 G League appearances. He shot 46.8 percent from the field, 42.4 percent on 3-pointers and 86.4 percent from the foul line, earning a spot on the league’s All-Rookie team.
He joined San Antonio’s summer league team in July. His returning G League rights were later traded to the Austin Spurs, another indication that he will likely begin the season there.
If Davis is waived and spends at least 60 days with Austin, he could receive a bonus worth as much as $91,000.
Davis joins Jon Elmore, Taelon Peter and Malik Williams as camp invitees on non-guaranteed contracts. The Spurs also have 14 players on guaranteed standard deals and three on two-way contracts.
