The Wizards made a pair of roster moves Sunday, signing guard Alondes Williams to an Exhibit 10 contract and waiving forward/center Skal Labissiere.
Williams is back with Washington after a productive stint with the organization last season.
The 6-foot-4 guard appeared in four games on a 10-day contract in February and averaged 11.0 points while shooting 61.5 percent from the field. That run included a 25-point, 10-rebound performance against Indiana.
Williams also had a strong year with the Capital City Go-Go, averaging 22.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.5 steals in 35 G League games.
He was the G League’s Most Improved Player in 2023-24 and earned first-team All-NBAGL honors that season.
Labissiere, meanwhile, could be headed back to Capital City after also spending last season with the Go-Go.
Because he was on an Exhibit 10-type path with Washington, Labissiere is eligible for a bonus if he spends at least 60 days with the Wizards’ G League affiliate.
Simple little move, brother. Sign one, waive one, give the useful background, move on.
