Raptors signing 7-foot-5 Jamarion Sharp to compete for two-way spot

The Raptors are taking another look at Jamarion Sharp.

Sharp, a 7-foot-5 center who spent Summer League with Toronto, is signing with the Raptors and will compete for a two-way contract, according to Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.

Sharp played well enough during Summer League to make Toronto think about keeping him then, averaging 7.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.8 blocks in just 18.2 minutes over five games.

Instead, he signed a two-way deal with the Clippers before being waived in September. Now he’s back with the Raptors.

Sharp went undrafted out of Ole Miss in 2024 and spent most of last season with the Texas Legends. He was named G League Defensive Player of the Year after averaging 3.9 blocks in only 24.9 minutes per game.

The rim protection has been his calling card for years. Sharp also led the NCAA in blocks in consecutive seasons while at Western Kentucky.

Toronto already has all three of its two-way slots filled, so Sharp will have to win one.

The Raptors also currently have 21 players in camp, meaning another move will be required before Sharp can officially be added.
