Bucks shooting guard Grayson Allen has been discussed as part of trade talks with the Suns for forward Jae Crowder, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
The Bucks are among those that repeatedly have been linked to Crowder, who requested a trade before the beginning of the season. He has yet to play.
Allen, 27, is 6-foot-4 and had a career season in 2021-22, averaging 11.1 points on 45 percent shooting, including 41 percent on 3-pointers. But his scoring average has dipped slightly in 13 games this year, with Allen averaging 9.8 points.
Still, the Suns are looking for additional outside shooting following the injury to Cam Johnson, and Allen very well could offer assistance in that department. Plus, he may not be quite as needed in Milwaukee here soon.
“With Pat Connaughton set to return to action, Allen could become expendable for Milwaukee with the Bucks searching for frontcourt help,” Scotto wrote.
Crowder also has been linked to the Heat and several others, with trade talks reportedly heating up, as we relayed here.
