Pelicans Select Trey Murphy III With No. 17 Pick

The Pelicans have selected Virginia forward Trey Murphy with the No. 17 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.

This pick was acquired as part of a trade with the Grizzlies earlier in the week. New Orleans sent the 10th pick to Memphis as part of that deal.

• Skilled in catch-and-shoot situations; repeatable form.
