Nets star forward Kevin Durant was forced to exit Sunday’s game against the Heat with a right knee injury — which occurred after Heat forward Jimmy Butler landed on it.
Just before falling into Durant late in the third quarter, Butler had his shot blocked by Nets guard Ben Simmons. Durant was on the court for two more possessions before going back to the locker room.

The Nets entered the night as one of the NBA’s hottest teams, having won 20 of their previous 24.
